The Role of the Student
The Personal Project is undertaken independently. This means that you are expected to complete the Personal Project requirements on your own. Of course you will be given guidance by your Project Coordinators and your Project Supervisor. We cannot do the project for you. You are expected to use all of the skills you have learned throughout your education to complete this project.
You will be expected to:
You will be expected to:
- Arrange regular meetings with your Project Supervisor, keep records of those meetings and what actions you need to take as a result of the
meetings. - Attend all of the Personal Project sessions with your Project Coordinators. These are timetabled sessions where you will be given guidance on completing the various parts of the Personal Project. If you are absent, you must follow-up with the website, Project Coordinator and your peers to find out what you have missed.
- Keep regular entries in your Process Journal using ManageBac detailing your reflections, records of meetings, interviews etc.
- Keep to the set deadlines arranged by your Supervisor and Coordinator. We will keep a tight record of work handed in late and late submissions will affect your grade.
- Keep backup copies of all your work. We suggest storing a copy on your Google Drive account and an external drive. Remember if the Personal Project is that important to you, you must backup the work. We may ask for evidence that you are making backups.
- You must use the format for the written part of the project as given to you by the Project Coordinator (marks are awarded for
this)
