Wednesday March 19th, is Exhibition day. On this day you will showcase all your efforts in one afternoon. As well as the whole school in attendance, parents are invited to see your fantastic projects.
Exhibitions at IICS get better and better and last year was no exception. Just take a look at some of the photos and products from 2013.
One area of improvement we can make is the way the project is shown. Too often the product is the focus of your table, yet this is only a small part of the project that has been going on for the best part of 7 months or more. The challenges you faced, all the research and the numerous other write ups are sometimes missed...in fact you can say the PROCESS or your JOURNEY is not always reflected.

“Too often we are so preoccupied with the destination, we forget the journey.” (Unknown author)
So, if the journey is important, how will we get this across during the exhibition? Last year, two students made some display boards with key information on each area of the project....Define Goal, Select Sources etc... as well as showcasing their product.
So, starting now, think about how you aim to show your 'journey' through the project. Come up with some ideas to place in your Process Journal and then later for discussion in class.
Good luck!
